Young Animals
Some animals may have specific terms for when they are young, such as puyitos for a baby chicken, or ga’lågitu for a puppy. But for many other animals the terms are not so specific. In these instances, if we want to be specific about talking about a young animal, we can add the word påtgon in front of the word. So a foal (young horse) would be påtgon kabåyu, and a piglet can be called påtgon babui.
